There is nothing better than visiting our favorite coffee house (to get our mojo on) for the weekend. We just love going to Barefoot Buddha, this funky, eclectic coffee joint across from the cruise ship dock across from Havensite mall that opened a few years ago now. Not only is it visually pleasing and calming when you walk in but most of the locals hang out there so we see a lot of our friends while we are there too. Hey, everyone in St. Thomas knows were to get the good stuff! Though we just got strong cafe Latte's this morning, all the bakery goods looked so good too (but we were strong and resisted this time).
We ran into Justine, one of the owners this morning and aside from seeing her at the gym sometimes, we had a great chat this morning at the coffee house. We talked all about traveling and how to maximize our American Airlines points and travel perks. This conversation was right up Dennis' alley as he knows a ton about how to work the points and upgrade systems of most travel but Justine had even more to share with him. Oh, we love to know inside secrets about travel. She also told us about her travels to England where her dad (the famous Foxy of Foxy's Bar in Jost Van Dyke) got a MBE (Member of the British Empire) by Princess Ann. Pretty exciting for Foxy huh?
It's been over a month since we had an adjustment from our chiropractor so todays visit was very exciting to say the least and with coffee in our blood, a good adjustment, and an early morning rainbow, it's gunna be a good rest of the day.
