Video Shoot at Wyndham
I got a call from the Wyndam Spa manager last night, prior to my appointment at the spa today, asking me if I minded being filmed for an Internation Rotary DVD that was being made at the property. They were going to be filming the gym and spa shop but also the main hair salon too. The big group (hopefully not all their 1.2 million members) is coming in 2011 to the Wyndham Sugarbay and apparently this was the shoot that would be shown to the group, kind of a PR piece.
I said I didn't mind but once I got to thinking about how I looked with wet hair when I get my hair cut, I was a little worried what he would be shooting and just how I would look on camera.
I picked out a cuter than normal outfit today (well, hey, I wanted to be extra cute just in case there was a close up or something!). Paul, the video guy was very nice and thank goodness only took about a minute of my hairdresser looking at my hair and then washing my hair instead of me with an ugly wet head of hair. He was in and out very fast and also took a shot of the nail gal and a tourists hands haiving a manicure. We all had to state our names and that we gave an ok to use our shots. It's wasn't a big deal at all and I won't ever get a chance to see the video (since I am not part of the International Rotary group) so it really doesn't matter what I looked like today. Still it was fun.
ps. the Wyndham is having some cool vacation packages going on now. Check them out and come down to the island mon! http://www.wyndham.com/hotels/STTSB/specialoffers/main.wnt
