It's time to start replacing some of my product pics on my website with more colorful scenery shots using the products.  I LOVE to take pictures of scenery and hey, I live in a great place for that so this morning Dennis and I headed over to Bluebeard's Beach Club by our house and used the picture perfect backdrop of the resort and ocean to take some shots.

We knew that Adventure of the sea's cruise ship would be in at 8am which means it passes our house at about 6:30 so with a quick shower, the signs and accessories loaded up, we drove down to set up. Just in time for it to pass us by and get some good shots.

I like Bluebeard's however, it is the worst beach for getting bite by no see um's (sand flies that are so small you can't see them, hence the name) on this WHOLE island. I am NOT kidding. We have been there many times with friend at the bar and you get eaten alive even with bug spray and this morning was no exception. I don't know why they are so bad there but we have had extra rain this year so maybe that is why.

Poor Dennis was really getting eaten up and he was moving as fast as he could. We finally moved from one side of the beach to the other, on the grass by the cabanas and hammocks and they calmed down a bit. I have no idea how tourist actually sit at that beach and come to think of it, most of them are in the pool. Now I know why, geez! They need to invest in those heavy duty bug zappers some of the resorts like the Marrriott have to help out. Even after we got home, both of us still felt like we were getting eaten up.

Tomorrow Dennis has other day off (3 day weekend) and we may end up going to breakfast at Secret Harbor beach resort and hanging on their beach for a while to relax. They don't have a bug problem there thank goodness.
