We get share of Celebrity folks that love to come to the Virgin Islands for vacation and hey, why not, it's beautiful here!. Last year Barak Obama was here and my massage therapist even massaged him at the Ritz Carlton! She said he was the 5th most relaxed person she had ever massaged which is good to hear. This weekend Mahogany Run Golf Club (http://www.mahoganyrungolf.com/) is hosting the 13th annual Beacon School Celebrity Golf Tournament. This event will be full of celebrities for sure especially NFL and NBA stars like last year.
Beacon School is a nonprofit organization that sponsors after-school and community-based learning for children and adults on St. Croix, St. Thomas and St. John and this tournament raises a hefty 25% of their operating budget.
The festivies already started yesterday at the Ritz Carlton and will continue through the weekend so we may head over today to see if we can spot some of them.
