From our island to your's Haiti, we pray for you!

We are just so sad for our friends in Haiti this week. There is a large population of Haitian people who live and work here but have families still in Haiti and I can't even imagine what they must be going thru in the aftermath of the terrible earthquake. It seems that Haiti just can't catch a break every year when they are hit with either floods, storms or more social problems to add to their already poverty level living plus the inability to prepare or even cope with a disaster. It's just so sad. This may end up being the largested disaster in history when all is said and done.

Next week there will be a benefit concert to raise money for the Haitian relief I found out last night. We want to do all we can here in St. Thomas. My husband and I donated to the Red Cross last night to help out a bit too. Here is a link from MSNBC to the organizations that you can give to to help out as well. Any amount is great and is badly needed.

We are praying for you Haiti!
