I saw my first Christmas tree displays up yesterday and had to ask myself what month and date it was! Halloween items are not even on clearance yet but Christmas things are already pushing out the summer and spring patio furniture and BBQ items. Don't stores know that we like to celebrate the summer months as long as we can and just want to get thru Halloween before the holidays are all over us? Plus it's still 90 degrees out!

The phrase "island Time" means a later time than what the universal clock might be saying, maybe even by a day or two (as I experienced with some island construction workers).
